Krysta Fitzgerald (she/her) – Deputy Executive Director, RSW; Krysta has been with Boyle Street Community Services for over 10 years, where she promotes Indigenous ways of knowing and being in all aspects of her work.
Krysta has been connected to the IRM team for nearly a decade, including participation in omanitew in-person training, and support in the development of core IRM work such as sitoskam iyiniwatisiwin and reconciliation training.
Originally from Newfoundland, Krysta has made Edmonton her home for more than 20 years and has developed a deep connection to the Boyle Street community. Working closely with surrounding Nations to best support reconciliatory action across Treaty Six Territory, she believes that all settlers have a responsibility to learn from the First Peoples of Turtle Island.
